The Ponderosa Star

A Barn Quilt Rooted in Strength & Stillness

Some designs arrive quietly, carrying more meaning than they first reveal. The Ponderosa Star Barn Quilt is one of those pieces—steadfast, grounding, and deeply rooted.

Inspired by the towering ponderosa pine, this star reflects resilience shaped over time. Ponderosa pines grow slowly and deliberately, sinking deep roots before stretching skyward. They endure wind, weather, fire, and long seasons of waiting—standing as markers of patience, protection, and strength.

The Ponderosa Star carries that same spirit.

There’s something about Christmas that brings us back to childhood — the glow of lights in the dark, the smell of pine and cookies in the oven, the quiet hope that something magical might just happen while we sleep.

That feeling is what inspired our newest holiday barn quilt design, Here Comes Santa Claus.

A bright little quartet of holiday cheer — painted in cranberry red and evergreen, framed in cedar, and inspired by the simple magic of winter mornings on the farm. ❄️🌿

This new barn quilt is now in the shop as a painted piece, DIY kit, and pattern… just in time to deck your walls, mantels, and porches with something handmade and merry. ❤️💚

There are a handful of products that make their way into the hearts of our customers year after year, and our Barn Quilt Block Sets are certainly one of them. For a long while they were unavailable as we grew our shop and expanded our collections — but the messages continued to come in: “Are the blocks coming back?” “Do you still make the little quilt puzzles?”

Today, we are thrilled to say…
✨ Yes! They’re back — and better than ever. ✨
