There’s something about fall that makes me want to gather people together. Maybe it’s the golden light on the mountains, the turning of leaves, or the way autumn seems to invite us indoors with stories and craft.

Several years ago, I was asked by The Corn Wagon in Springville, Utah, to design a logo for their store. They wanted something that reflected the classic Corn and Beans quilt block but with a fresh twist that tied in a star motif. I loved the challenge and began sketching. By shifting the angle of just a few blocks, the Corn and Beans Star was born. I painted the design for them, and to this day, it remains the logo for their shop—a beautiful nod to tradition and creativity.

There’s a particular shade of blue that can stop you in your tracks — the kind that belongs only to wild cornflowers dancing at the edge of summer fields. Their delicate petals, kissed with morning dew, are a reminder of both resilience and grace. The Wilde Bloem Cornflower Cross Stitch captures that fleeting beauty in a geometric bloom, translating nature’s palette into threads and texture.

This barn quilt features our Prairie Paints, with the rich golden hue of our brand-new color Honeycomb taking center stage. Paired with rustic greys and weathered whites, this design brings a warm, earthy palette to life — a reminder of the beauty found in everyday simplicity.

This sweet corner is full of stories… The Honeycomb walls wrap the room in a golden hug, while our Pricilla Barn Quilt adds a pop of hand-painted charm. The vintage couch? It belonged to my grandmother and still carries the comfort of childhood naps and holiday laughter. And those little Fisher-Price toys? They’ve entertained three generations of giggles and pretend adventures.
