Prairie Paints Thistle Place Chalk-Gel Paint

After years of painting furniture and thousands of barn quilts always mixing our perfectly subtle, aged paint colors we decided it was time to create our own line of paints called, Prairie Paints.  Each color tells a story with it's name and the colors are perfectly vintage.

Our Prairie Paints have been tested on large pieces of furniture, indoor and outdoor elements, kitchen cabinetry and of course our hand painted barn quilts! The colors hold up to all elements and look beautiful alone or sealed with our tinted waxes and oils.  

Our Thistle Place Prairie Paint is a beautiful aged purple inspired by the thistles that grow in the river bottoms on our family farm. Thistles have been a symbol of hope and faith for our family since the early 1800's when my ancestors came to find their land in upstate New York. Every room of the farmhouse has thistles carved into the wood work or painted on china and glass. After mixing purples for years to get the perfectly vintage purple, it is now ready for all of your paint projects.
