Farm & Hive Barn Quilt Painting Workshop

Join us for a full-day, hands-on Barn Quilt Painting Workshop at Farm & Hive located in Inkom, Idaho.  Join us for a a slow, creative day rooted in tradition, color, and craftsmanship.

This immersive class is designed for beginners and experienced painters alike. You’ll be guided step-by-step through our How to Paint a Barn Quilt tutorials, with plenty of personal instruction and encouragement along the way. We’ll cover design layout, color placement, clean lines, and finishing techniques, so you leave feeling confident and inspired.

You’ll paint using our signature Prairie Paint Collection, known for its rich, matte finish and heritage-inspired palette. Each student will receive a 22” wooden barn quilt board and may choose one pattern from our barn quilt collection to make their own.

A delicious lunch is included, allowing us to pause, connect, and enjoy the day together before returning to our brushes.

Workshop Includes:

  • Full-day instruction from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • How to Paint a Barn Quilt tutorials

  • Hands-on guidance throughout the day

  • Use of the Prairie Paint Collection

  • 22” wooden barn quilt board

  • Choice of one barn quilt pattern from our collection

  • Lunch included

Pricing options for larger boards and framing upgrades will be shared after registration.
